Let Go of the past…

One of the biggest mistakes we make as humans is clinging onto the past.

We put such a heavy burden on ourselves by re-living, regretting & re-playing in our minds what we cannot change.

Re-playing the past simply tortures us. We punish ourselves over & over creating a negative cycle, causing damaging emotions of guilt – shame & disappointment. These feelings leave us low & depleted & often on the defensive ready to attack.

HOW DO WE STOP ??

We learn to ‘LET GO’ – we accept that we cannot re-live or change the past.

We realise that we can only learn from our mistakes & grow. We hold our power in TODAY !!

As we train our bodies – so too must we train our mind. Daily practice & self-awareness. When those negative thoughts invade our peace, as soon as we catch them – we push them away. A great way to do this is by singing your favourite song. Music raises all vibrations & distracts us from that downward spiral of thought.

A POWERFUL EXERCISE OF SELF – AWARENESS.

At the end of each day take a quiet moment & reflect on your day. Not yesterday or last week the day that you have just lived.

Were there any moments that you were diverted away from inner peace ??

If so – what caused those disturbances ??

How did you re-act ??

Have there been any triggers in your day that you now are aware of??

What part of your day did you need to take a break & you didn’t ?? How did this then make you feel??

REFLECT & then make a promise to yourself that tomorrow is a new day.

You have recognised in your-self where you need to practice patience. Where you need to heal & where you need to allow self-love.

Tomorrow you will do your best & try to do a little better than today !!

& that is ENOUGH … ❤
